Strides After Hours Breast Cancer Event
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Concord has been taking place since 1993. Corporate sponsorship provides an opportunity to align companies with this highly successful community event. Concord, New Hampshire is the top Fundraising Making Strides event (per capita) in the country! The Concord, New Hampshire event is also nationally ranked as the top Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in “Participant Overall Experience.” In 2011, almost 6,000 women, men and children from the greater Concord community joined together bound by a common purpose to walk the 5-mile route and helped to raise a total of $568,089. For the past five years the event has raised over a half million dollars each year for breast cancer research and programs of the American Cancer Society.
Banks hosted
more than fifty attendees at the Strides After Hours networking event on Thursday, July 19th. The event was held for businesses who have corporate teams that will be participating in October's walk. Team Captain packages were handed out, strategies for raising money for the walk were discussed and an inspirational Making Strides video was revealed.
